Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs through structured interviews, observational methods, and standardized assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans by synthesizing psychosocial, medical, and therapeutic data.
• Establish clear short-term and long-term treatment goals in collaboration with each patient.
• Facilitate therapeutic discussions that encourage clients to explore and articulate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
• Monitor the progress of treatment programs, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
• Provide intensive counseling for a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and adjustment disorders.
• Maintain impeccable clinical documentation, including initial assessments, treatment progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to consult on complex cases, ensuring integrated and holistic patient care.
• Stay informed on legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance with regulations in mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population who may be dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, relationship difficulties, and behavioral challenges. Qualifications

• A valid and current LMFT license in California is required.
• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience providing therapy in an outpatient or community setting.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate fluently in English; bilingual ability in Spanish is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy or delivering services in a remote format is a plus.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
• History of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams is desired.
