Key Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic services, including individual, couples, and family therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health and relational needs, developing personalized treatment plans that set clear and achievable goals.
• Employ family systems theory and systemic interventions to effectively address issues such as relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and familial stressors.
• Provide crisis intervention support when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and families.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Educate clients on coping strategies, effective communication, and conflict resolution to foster their emotional resilience and relationship skills.
• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver integrated and holistic care.
• Stay informed on emerging research and best practices in marriage and family therapy to continually enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse population of clients, including adults and children, each facing unique challenges related to mental health and family dynamics. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their circumstances, improve their relationships, and achieve personal goals for well-being.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• A minimum of three years of experience providing therapy in outpatient settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to ethical therapeutic practices, ensuring confidentiality and trust within client interactions.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.
• Flexibility to accommodate client appointments, demonstrating dedication to their needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with outpatient therapy services is preferred, particularly in settings where systemic therapy is utilized.
• Previous experience dealing with diverse populations and varied family systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, you will receive a sign-on bonus as an incentive for joining our dedicated team.
