Work Environment

This position is completely remote, allowing you to work from any location as long as you have a reliable internet connection. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions through video calls, utilizing effective therapeutic techniques to facilitate discussions regarding emotions, behaviors, and interpersonal relationships.
• Actively listen and engage clients in dialogue to foster insight and personal growth, guiding them towards achieving their mental health goals.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions, establishing and implementing personalized treatment plans grounded in clinical practices and your professional experiences.
• Serve as an advocate for your clients, assisting them in defining achievable goals and exploring paths toward better mental health and relationship satisfaction.
• Maintain minimal paperwork by documenting session notes efficiently and allowing Gotham Enterprises Ltd to manage the administrative aspects of your practice, including billing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with are primarily stable adults experiencing low-acuity mental health challenges. Our careful screening process ensures that individuals seeking support are well-suited for outpatient counseling. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• You must possess a valid License as a Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFT) issued by a state board. Please note that limited or provisional licenses are not acceptable for this position.
• Your skills should include the ability to conduct professional assessments and develop suitable treatment plans effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor are critical to building rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in technology and strong computer literacy skills are necessary, given the remote nature of this role.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a remote capacity is preferred, particularly familiarity with telehealth platforms and online counseling protocols.
• Experience implementing evidence-based practices in therapy, particularly for couples and family therapy, is highly desirable.
