Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) - Remote Opportunity

Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible work setting, as you will primarily operate remotely while occasionally being present in our outpatient office in Lakewood. Key Responsibilities

• Establish trusting and therapeutic relationships with clients, making them feel comfortable sharing their experiences and challenges.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health issues that clients face, including anxiety, depression, relationships concerns, and family dynamics.
• Conduct both individual and couples sessions, adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Develop, implement, and revise tailored treatment plans that align with client goals and address their unique circumstances.
• Provide ongoing consultation and support as needed, adjusting therapeutic strategies based on client progress and feedback.
• Keep accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Facilitate referrals to additional resources or specialists as necessary, ensuring clients receive well-rounded care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your client focus will encompass a diverse range of individuals and families. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, addressing complex issues that often intertwine personal dynamics and relationship challenges. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping families navigate transitions, strengthen communication, and resolve conflicts, ultimately leading to healthier relationships and well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid and current LMFT license is required to practice.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Strong interpersonal skills conducive to developing rapport with clients and contributing positively to team dynamics.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Certification or experience in addiction therapy would be an asset, particularly for clients with co-occurring disorders.
• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or Family Systems Theory.
• Experience in a clinical or community-based setting working directly with families and couples.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
