Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients through secure video conferencing platforms to address mental health challenges.
• Guide clients in expressing their emotions and experiences to facilitate greater insight into their personal situations and relationships.
• Serve as a client advocate, assisting them in defining personal goals while providing emotional support and guidance throughout their journey.
• Assess client mental health conditions, develop, and implement tailored treatment plans using a solutions-focused approach grounded in your clinical expertise.
• Utilize our user-friendly online platform to schedule appointments, maintain client records, and manage your caseload efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse group of carefully screened adults who are considered stable and generally present low acuity mental health needs. This allows our therapists to provide quality care and foster a therapeutic relationship that encourages growth and healing.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Possession of a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFT) license issued by a state board is mandatory; limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.
• Ability to make astute professional evaluations and informed decisions regarding treatment planning and implementation for your clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills along with a sympathetic nature that fosters client rapport and connection.
• Proficient computer literacy skills to navigate various digital platforms necessary for the role.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health counseling setting, with demonstrated success in working with individuals or families.
• Experience in a telehealth environment is a plus, as it prepares you to engage effectively with clients remotely.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive salary between $90,000 and $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and the number of hours worked.
