Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their specific mental health goals and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to promote greater understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Monitor client progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that care is responsive and effective.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to create an integrated approach to patient care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorders to continuously refine treatment strategies and enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and complex family dynamics. You will work with diverse populations, helping clients navigate their challenges and improve their emotional wellbeing. Building a strong, safe, and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients will be essential to fostering successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
• Empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to counseling, embracing clients' unique experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with mood disorders or family systems therapy is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to document client progress and treatment plans effectively.
• A history of participating in continuing education and professional development in areas relevant to therapy and recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
