Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs and formulate individualized treatment plans, ensuring to adhere to the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) standards.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailored interventions such as couples counseling, stress management, and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
• Utilize telehealth technology to deliver effective therapy while maintaining clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory policies and standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in team meetings, case consultations, and workshops, reinforcing your clinical skills and knowledge base.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and their families, providing them with valuable resources and support for their mental health journey.
• Actively participate in quality management initiatives to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
• Manage a caseload that typically consists of 10-30 billable hours per week, with the flexibility to adapt based on your personal preferences and client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your therapeutic expertise will be directed toward individuals, families, and groups dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and dual diagnoses. As an LMFT, you will play an instrumental role in treating the whole family system, realigning interpersonal dynamics, and fostering a supportive network for clients who seek holistic solutions for their mental health.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LMFT license or a Psy.D in the state of Virginia.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of verifiable experience in providing psychotherapy services.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is crucial.

Preferred Experience

• Proven ability to operate effectively in a remote work setting while maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Experience in conducting therapy remotely and navigating telehealth challenges, showcasing adaptability and technical proficiency.
• Knowledge of community resources and involvement in integrated healthcare environments to provide additional support and resources for clients.

Compensation and Benefits

We recognize and value the expertise of our therapists, offering a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and clinical expertise.
