Key Responsibilities

• Document therapy sessions meticulously in accordance with established policies to ensure compliance with medical record standards while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients facing acute emotional distress, employing swift, appropriate therapeutic techniques.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, client consultations, and professional development workshops that enhance both therapeutic skills and treatment methodologies.
• Deliver a spectrum of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, family therapy, psychological evaluations, and structured group therapy sessions.
• Assess and diagnose mental and emotional disorders, crafting tailored treatment plans to facilitate client recovery and resilience.

Qualifications

• Valid License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least two years of clinical experience in a similar setting, demonstrating proficiency in dealing with varied mental health disorders.
• Strong skills in developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive therapeutic interventions.
• Empathy, compassion, and the ability to establish connections quickly with clients to build trust and rapport.

Preferred Experience

• Experience conducting psychological assessments and evaluations, particularly for bariatric candidates.
