Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial intake assessments to determine client needs and establishing treatment plans.
• Facilitating therapy sessions for couples, while also conducting individual sessions with each partner, focusing on effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Specializing in diverse issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflict, job stress, and adjustment challenges related to separation or divorce.
• Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies tailored to each client’s unique situation.
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate, timely, and comprehensive client records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Engaging actively in team meetings and professional development efforts, contributing to a culture of clinical excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on engaging with a diverse client base, encompassing adults, children, and adolescents. You will work with individuals facing a variety of challenges, including complex family dynamics, mental health issues, and life transitions. Providing support to blended families and navigating the intricacies of remarriage or separation will be key aspects of your role.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• Strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience. Experience working with family dynamics and diverse populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards in virtual therapy settings will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Better Movement Coaching Hub offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 100,000 per year, along with a generous benefits package. This includes:
