Job Description

Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) – Augusta, Georgia

We are seeking a licensed and skilled Marriage and Family Therapist to join our dedicated mental health team in Georgia. In this full-time role, you will provide individual, couples, and family therapy to help clients navigate emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care, promoting mental wellness and healthier relationships.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate psychotherapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families addressing mental health, relationship, and emotional challenges.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Use evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and trauma-informed therapy.
  • Support clients in developing coping strategies and enhancing emotional regulation skills.
  • Provide referrals and collaborate with external providers for additional services when necessary.
  • Participate in case reviews and team consultations to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation in accordance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active LMFT license in Georgia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • Proficiency in individual, family, and couples counseling.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, grief counseling, and crisis intervention.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
