As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
You will work primarily with stable adults who exhibit low acuity mental health issues, ensuring that you focus on clients who can benefit from supportive counseling without being at risk from severe mental health crises. Each client is carefully screened prior to being matched with you, allowing for a tailored and effective therapeutic relationship. We will connect you with clients based on your specialties and interests, ensuring a rewarding experience for both you and those you serve.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
While not mandatory, experience in telehealth, crisis intervention, or working within a community health setting is advantageous. familiarity with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Therapy can also enhance your effectiveness in this role.
