Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of therapeutic and rehabilitative massage techniques, such as deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and trigger point therapy, tailored to meet individual patient needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ health conditions to develop personalized massage therapy plans aimed at addressing specific pain points and wellness goals.
• Utilize advanced techniques to alleviate muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote recovery after injury or chronic pain.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists and chiropractors, to formulate cohesive treatment strategies.
• Educate clients about wellness practices, posture adjustments, and effective self-care techniques for sustained health improvements.
• Maintain precise and confidential treatment records using electronic health record systems to support coordinated care.
• Ensure the therapy area is safe, hygienic, and welcoming, upholding the highest standards for patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse set of patients ranging from those recovering from sports injuries to individuals seeking relief from chronic pain conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach to understanding each patient’s unique challenges and providing therapeutic solutions that enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Washington State Massage Therapy license.
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Demonstrate strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and healthcare team members.
• Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a wellness, rehabilitation, or clinical setting is preferred.
• Certification in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as deep tissue or sports massage, is highly desirable.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with clinical documentation processes are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, in addition to opportunities for tips and commissions.
