Serenity Massage Haven is looking for a dedicated Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a full-time member of our wellness center, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients through therapeutic touch. You will provide a variety of massage therapies tailored to meet individual needs, ensuring each client feels rejuvenated and at ease.

Work Environment

This is a full-time onsite position based in our outpatient office located in Akron, Ohio. Your work schedule will offer flexibility, allowing you to choose shifts from Monday to Saturday, between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, accommodating both full-time and part-time options. We foster a collaborative team atmosphere where support and communication are key. Our work setting is designed to create a calming ambiance for both therapists and clients, promoting an overall sense of well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage, tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough initial assessments with each client to understand their specific concerns and goals, leading to customized treatment plans.
• Utilize specialized modalities such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and aromatherapy to enhance client experiences.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare practitioners, such as chiropractors and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for clients.
• Continuously update your professional knowledge by staying informed on industry trends, new techniques, and research findings relevant to massage therapy.
• Maintain detailed records of client treatments, including progress notes and recommendations for ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, providing a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical or outpatient setting providing therapeutic massage.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package ranges from $40 to $60 per hour, commensurate with experience and specialization.
