Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions ethically and compassionately through video conferencing tools.
• Perform ongoing assessments of client treatment needs to adapt therapeutic approaches as necessary.
• Collaborate with clients in developing, executing, and monitoring tailored treatment plans focused on recovery solutions.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to help clients cultivate new coping strategies, enhance problem-solving capabilities, and improve communication skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be primarily on low-acuity adult clients experiencing stabilization needs in their mental health journey. You will foster trusting therapeutic relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing assessments and interventions tailored to their unique circumstances and goals. This role is crucial in helping clients regain functionality and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is a mandatory requirement.
• Current licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential for practice.
• Applicants must possess an independent license to practice without supervision and have no history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a client-focused approach are pivotal in ensuring effective counseling.
• Proficiency in technology and maintaining a reliable Wi-Fi connection is necessary for remote counseling sessions.
