Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Counsel clients individually through secure video sessions aimed at improving their mental health and overall well-being.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to articulate their emotions and personal experiences, helping them gain insights into themselves and their relationships.
• Advocate for clients by aiding them in defining personal goals while providing consistent support throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and create tailored treatment plans based on your clinical expertise, employing solution-focused approaches to address their specific needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with are prescreened, stable, and have low acuity needs, allowing you to focus on providing effective and engaging mental health care without the challenges often associated with high-acuity cases. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent license issued by the state board, particularly one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Psychologist, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Note: Limited or provisional licenses will not be considered.

• A strong ability to make professional evaluations and informed decisions regarding treatment planning and implementation.
