Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with us, your duties will include:

• Providing quality patient care by performing clinical tasks such as administering medications, ensuring proper dosages, and monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation levels, and responding to changes in patients’ conditions.
• Assisting Registered Nurses and physicians in conducting comprehensive health assessments, and actively participating in the development of personalized care plans.
• Documenting all patient interactions and care given in accordance with facility and regulatory standards, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement care strategies that promote improved health outcomes.
• Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families to enhance their understanding and experience of the care process.
• Ensuring cleanliness and safety in the patient surroundings, adhering to infection control guidelines to maintain a healthy environment.
• Supporting resident mobility and assisting with daily activities such as eating, bathing, and dressing, always prioritizing patient dignity and comfort.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Assisted Living Facility caters primarily to elderly residents who may have complex medical needs and require varying levels of assistance with activities of daily living. As an LPN, you will work directly with these residents, fostering relationships built on trust, empathy, and respect, while providing care that focuses on physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in California.
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program with a strong foundation in nursing principles.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
