Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, ensuring safety and comfort for all patients.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments, accurately documenting their effects and any patient responses.
• Monitor patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, while identifying any changes that may require immediate attention.
• Assist in patient assessments by gathering and recording comprehensive patient information during routine checks.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Educate patients and their families about medications, procedures, and self-care techniques to empower them in managing their health.
• Document patient observations, interactions, and the care provided using our electronic health records system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering strictly to infection control protocols.
• Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort during every interaction.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, fostering a calming presence in a hospital setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits
