Work Environment

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at our facility, you will work a variety of shifts designed to ensure comprehensive patient care around the clock. Your schedule may include morning shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, afternoon shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, or night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Full-time team members typically work five shifts per week, while part-time opportunities are available, allowing for flexibility between two to four shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and compassionate patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, offering assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments while ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring of patient responses.
• Regularly assess and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any significant changes to the supervising healthcare team.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans that address patient needs and preferences.
• Educate patients and their families on medications, available treatments, and essential self-care techniques to promote understanding and compliance.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all patient interactions and care provided, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations.
• Implement and uphold rigorous infection control protocols to keep the patient environment safe and sanitized.
• Assist with mobility aids and patient transfers, ensuring comfort and well-being during movement.
