Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostic assessments to understand client needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions using evidence-based practices suited to the unique needs of each client, leveraging methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, collaborating with other therapists to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Continuously assess client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring clients remain engaged and motivated in their therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse range of clients, including adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance use disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in developing therapeutic relationships with individuals seeking support in managing their mental health issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Current and unrestricted active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the counseling field, with a preference for those who have worked in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or additional training in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
