Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' emotional and psychological needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools to inform treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique challenges faced by each client.
• Provide evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on behavioral interventions, cognitive restructuring, and emotional regulation techniques.
• Document all client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for shared clients.
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics, safeguarding sensitive client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our LPC will work with a broad spectrum of clients aged from children to seniors, each faced with distinct mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The role demands sensitivity and adaptability to cater to the diverse cultural backgrounds and individual circumstances of our clients, enhancing their overall well-being and guiding them through personal growth.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in Counseling or a related mental health field is required.
• A valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical counseling setting, demonstrated through previous roles within mental health services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling deep rapport-building with clients.
• Ability to navigate and deliver therapy effectively through virtual platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based practices.
• Experience in developing wellness programs or workshops aimed at community mental health education.

Compensation and Benefits
