Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions using video chat technology, ensuring a compassionate and ethical approach.
• Employ evidence-based, solution-focused treatment methods to support and facilitate your clients' therapeutic journeys.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs, goals, and circumstances.
• Monitor and document client progress throughout their treatment, adjusting strategies as necessary to promote their well-being.
• Guide clients in developing insights about their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, equipping them with healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist with Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults facing a diverse array of mental health concerns. Our client population includes individuals managing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients acquire the skills necessary to improve their quality of life, leading to impactful and meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Must hold a current, fully unrestricted license to practice independently, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• No limited/provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions on record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage empathetically with clients.
• Strong computer skills, comfortable using teletherapy platforms and case management software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a virtual, telehealth environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Background in working with diverse populations, including marginalized or underserved communities.
