Work Environment

This role offers a remote work setting, allowing for a flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM. You will have the unique opportunity to work with a diverse client population within our outpatient outpatient office, backed by a supportive administrative and clinical team dedicated to your professional success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic sessions through video or phone consultations, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationship issues.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of each client's mental and emotional health, integrating their personal histories into a collaborative treatment plan that addresses individual needs and goals.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, social workers, and case managers to ensure an integrated approach to comprehensive client care.
• Provide clients with psychoeducation and practical coping strategies that empower them to manage their mental health effectively, fostering independence and resilience.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies to protect client confidentiality.
• Participate in continuous professional development through training sessions, workshops, and peer supervision, ensuring ongoing growth in therapeutic practices and emerging mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a wide variety of clients dealing with diverse mental health issues across different age groups and backgrounds. This role involves creating a therapeutic atmosphere that embraces diversity and provides equitable care for clients seeking support in managing their mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Maine or eligibility to obtain such licensure.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a client-centered, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective relationships with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing outpatient counseling services is preferred.
• A background in treating a wide range of mental health disorders and working with culturally diverse populations will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

At Havencrest Wellness Group, we offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based incentives. Additional benefits include:
