Position Overview

The South Coast Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations during client intake to identify their mental health needs, concerns, and therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions addressing a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.
• Lead couples and family therapy sessions aimed at resolving relational dynamics, improving communication skills, and mitigating familial discord.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that outline specific goals, interventions, and strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Provide crisis intervention support for clients experiencing urgent mental health challenges, employing effective strategies to ensure immediate safety and stabilization.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, strategies for coping with distress, and available community resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with professional ethical standards.
• Uphold professional and ethical conduct, ensuring adherence to legal guidelines in all client interactions and advocating for clients' rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals from various age groups and backgrounds. Our clients often seek assistance for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma recovery, and life transitions. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong capacity to connect with clients empathetically.
• A commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development, including familiarity with current therapeutic methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a remote telehealth environment or willingness to adapt to digital counseling methods.
• Background in evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems for documentation and client communication.

Compensation and Benefits
