Position Overview

Navigate Family & Youth Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our remote team in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This full-time position offers a salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 annually, along with a robust sign-on bonus. Work Environment

This position operates within a supportive and collaborative outpatient office environment, with the added flexibility of remote work options. Our office is open seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, allowing you to maintain a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the trauma history of patients and recommend appropriate, tailored treatment approaches.
• Developing, implementing, and regularly reviewing individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group settings.
• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stabilization.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and integrated care for all clients.
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to promote self-efficacy.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development activities and case consultations to stay updated on the latest trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse client population including children, adolescents, and families dealing with trauma-related disorders. Your expertise will be essential in helping clients from various backgrounds and life experiences navigate their healing journey and establish resilience in the face of adversity.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with trauma-focused therapy.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies, and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. We value those who demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
