Work Environment

As a fully remote position, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients via secure telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, and group counseling sessions via telehealth, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for all participants.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough client assessments and ongoing therapeutic needs. Adjust interventions as necessary to promote optimal client outcomes.
• Implement and teach clients effective coping strategies and life skills that empower them to manage their mental health and face daily challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and community agencies, to provide comprehensive care and enhance treatment efficacy.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and stay aligned with organizational goals and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base that reflects the broad spectrum of the Allentown community. This includes individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your role will involve employing culturally sensitive practices to ensure that all clients feel understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journeys.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and active license as a Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Demonstrated competency in various counseling methodologies and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, fostered through years of working within diverse environments.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience providing telehealth services is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to engage clients effectively through virtual platforms.
• Experience working with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth software is preferred to streamline patient care and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client load. In addition, we provide an environment where you can focus primarily on your clients while we manage the administrative aspects, including billing and documentation.
