Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, providing you with flexibility while maintaining a structured outpatient office presence as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs at the outset of therapy, utilizing both standardized tools and subjective client feedback.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each client, setting realistic ambitions to track progress over time.
• Provide therapeutic counseling services in both individual and group settings, applying various evidence-based modalities to facilitate growth, healing, and coping strategies.
• Maintain meticulous records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines while aiding in treatment continuity.
• Collaborate effectively with a network of health care providers, engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and optimize treatment approaches.
• Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines consistently, remaining informed about new developments in the mental health field and integrating them into your practice.
• Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to foster collaboration, share insights, and engage in ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Intermountain Counseling Services, you will serve a diverse range of clients, including children, families, individuals coping with substance abuse, and those who have experienced trauma. Your ability to connect with clients from different backgrounds and life experiences will play a vital role in their therapeutic journey. You will also field inquiries regarding various mental health issues and be prepared to address them using a compassionate and informed approach.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Counseling or a related field is required.
• Valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in mental health counseling, showcasing your deep understanding of clinical practices and interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive engagement with clients and collaborative relationships with colleagues.
• A strong commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional development.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive yearly salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 95,000, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
