Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, providing the convenience of working from home while supporting clients through various virtual platforms. However, our counselor may occasionally engage in sessions at our outpatient office in Fort Worth to foster connections within the community. We utilize cutting-edge telehealth technology that ensures confidentiality and accessibility for our clients, allowing for a seamless therapeutic experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients, focusing on their unique needs and histories.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, leveraging methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and sessions in accordance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring immediate support and guidance for clients in distress.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of emerging trends and techniques in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote LPC at Highmark Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues. Many of our clients often encounter difficulties in accessing traditional mental health services, and your role will be pivotal in helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized experience in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is preferred.
• Proficiency in virtual therapy tools and digital documentation systems enhances your ability to provide services effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition:
