Work Environment

This position offers a unique telehealth work setting, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home while reaching clients who may have limited access to traditional outpatient services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand clients’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage sharing and learning from others’ experiences, designed to promote mental wellness and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to provide holistic and comprehensive care to clients, ensuring continuity and support across treatment modalities.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans in an electronic health record system while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
• Actively participate in clinical supervision, professional development workshops, and team meetings to foster personal and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clients often come from underserved communities with limited access to mental health resources, making your role pivotal in providing necessary support and guidance. You will engage with clients from all walks of life, tailoring your approach to meet their specific cultural and personal needs.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• An active and valid license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas without restrictions.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in clinical settings.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems for efficient practice management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training or certification in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly encouraged.
• Experience working with diverse populations and sound knowledge of cultural competence in therapy practices is valued.
• Demonstrated ability to engage clients in a virtual setting while building rapport and trust.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
