Work Environment

This role is designed for remote work, allowing you to operate in a flexible environment while maintaining a balance between personal and professional responsibilities. Your primary work will be conducted from a home office, but you will remain connected to a supportive team that values communication and collaboration. Our outpatient practice adheres to a structured schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, providing regular hours to support work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload, establishing rapport with clients through empathetic listening and proactive communication while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, discuss stability, address any concerns, and determine the appropriate timing for discharge when necessary.
• Create, implement, and continually evaluate person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with clients, adjusting strategies as needed to meet their evolving mental health needs.
• Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with established standards while facilitating effective treatment continuity.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and ideas aimed at enhancing overall care delivery.
• Utilize electronic health record systems, including RMS systems and various software tools (Excel, Outlook, Pimsy), to streamline client management and documentation processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Imperial Health Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Our commitment to serving adults, children, and families allows you to engage with various age groups, tailoring approaches to meet each client’s specific needs and circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin.
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating your ability to deliver direct psychotherapy services.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with RMS systems, Excel spreadsheets, and cloud-based documentation tools.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy, with a focus on establishing strong therapeutic alliances.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to meet the specific goals of a diverse client base.
• Experience working within an interdisciplinary team to enhance service delivery and client engagement.
