Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine client needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to address diverse mental health challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive client support and treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress in accordance with organizational policies and best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients consist of individuals and families from varied backgrounds, often facing significant barriers to accessing mental health care. You will work with clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship challenges. Your work will make a tangible difference in their lives, helping them navigate their unique challenges and achieve greater emotional resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic techniques and the application of evidence-based practices is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload volume. You will benefit from a steady stream of client referrals and have the opportunity to manage a caseload that aligns with your availability.
