Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to construct personalized treatment plans that cater to the clients’ specific mental health needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions individually or in group settings, ensuring all approaches align with client goals and preferences.
• Employ a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting strategies as required for each client.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to facilitate holistic care and improve patient outcomes.
• Keep accurate clinical documentation and maintain compliance with ethical standards and state regulations, ensuring clients’ confidentiality and legal protections are upheld.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest research in mental health and attending relevant training or workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, addressing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, which is essential for working in a licensed capacity.
• Current and active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience providing counseling services in a clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits
