Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to identify client needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Employ a wide array of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to accommodate the unique requirements of each client.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care and support for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with all ethical standards and legal regulations.
• Stay abreast of contemporary research and advancements in mental health practices, participating in workshops and professional development opportunities to continually enhance skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse client population, engaging with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relational difficulties. Your role will be critical in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes and achieve sustainable well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience, ideally within a clinical context.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations in counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build therapeutic relationships with clients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your caseload and expertise.
