Work Environment

This role will be primarily remote, allowing our Licensed Professional Counselor to maintain a flexible schedule while working from the comfort of their own environment. However, you will also have the opportunity to engage in our outpatient office as needed, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals in a supportive, multi-disciplinary team setting. This collaborative atmosphere fosters open communication among team members, creating a holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for patients to develop tailored treatment plans that address their individual needs.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and, when appropriate, provide family, marriage, or group counseling, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Carry out mental health screenings to assess treatment requirements, ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate care.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain comprehensive records in compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations.
• Participate in case reviews and team meetings to foster collaboration and share best practices among colleagues.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain informed of current trends, techniques, and methodologies in counseling.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of Inner Journey for Mental Health Solutions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, families, and couples. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field is required.
• An active and valid License to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in independent mental health practice is mandatory.
• Proficiency in current principles, practices, and trends in individual and family counseling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and build trust.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly with a focus on diverse populations.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and effective treatment modalities for behavioral and emotional issues.
• Ability to manage complex case dynamics involving children and families, ensuring comprehensive care strategies are developed.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually. We offer full administrative support to ensure you can focus on providing excellent care to your patients.
