Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including detailed assessments of clients’ criminal backgrounds and substance abuse history to inform treatment strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, even in challenging circumstances or settings as required.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including medical professionals, to accurately diagnose and manage complex psychiatric disorders, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Develop and maintain detailed clinical records, write clinical reports, and create individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and all relevant care team members to ensure a cohesive treatment approach and optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position serves a diverse patient population consisting of individuals dealing with a wide array of mental health concerns. Our clients may be experiencing relationship challenges, emotional turmoil from life transitions, or the residual effects of trauma and grief. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC) or a related mental health discipline from an accredited institution.
• An active LPCC license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, signifying your eligibility to practice psychotherapy in California.
• A minimum of three (3) years of continuous experience in providing direct patient care as an LPCC in either public or private settings.
• Proficient skills in conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and developing effective treatment planning strategies.
• Strong aptitude for facilitating individual and group therapy sessions with a focus on client engagement and therapeutic rapport.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to convey information effectively to clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and working with clients in acute clinical settings.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and telehealth platforms to enhance service delivery and patient tracking.
• A history of successful collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in developing comprehensive care strategies for complex case management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, with salaries ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
