Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to establish individualized therapy strategies for clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for clients, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group sessions.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy, tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to develop and maintain comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality and data security.
• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Johnson's Harbor Therapy, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults. Our focus is to assist individuals dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting, demonstrating the ability to connect with and support a range of clients.
• Composite of qualities including strong ethical standards, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, dependent on your experience and caseload.
