Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans that cater to the distinct needs of each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy for individuals, couples, and groups.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate comprehensive care strategies that enhance treatment outcomes.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with both legal regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all records.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training sessions to remain informed about the latest mental health research and therapeutic techniques.
• Facilitate workshops and group therapy sessions that promote community engagement and support, contributing to the center's integrative approach to mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals and families who often face barriers to accessing adequate mental health care. Special focus is directed towards clients dealing with common mental health disorders, substance use issues, trauma histories, and relationship challenges. Your empathetic approach will be vital in creating a supportive environment to foster recovery and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
• An active and unrestricted LPCC licensure in the state of California is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is required.
• Proficient understanding of legal and ethical standards governing the practice of counseling.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills that allow you to build rapport with a diverse range of clientele.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, depending on experience and caseload.
