Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions that foster trust and connection among clients, encouraging them to share their experiences and support one another.
• Providing personalized and empathetic individual therapy, aiding clients in exploring their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns while helping them develop effective coping strategies.
• Collaborating with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are actionable, realistic, and tailored to their specific goals.
• Monitoring and evaluating client progress, employing a variety of assessment tools and feedback methods to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Coordinating with a multidisciplinary team composed of therapists, social workers, and case managers to provide cohesive and comprehensive client care.
• Regularly reviewing complex cases in team meetings to devise strategies and interventions that cater to clients' unique needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse population of young adults facing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your work will play a critical role in helping these clients navigate their recovery journey, offering them the tools and support necessary to achieve lasting change.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in relevant fields such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• A current and valid LPC license in Texas or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to client-centered care.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experiences are considered assets:

• Experience working with young adults in a clinical or community setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or motivational interviewing.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation and progress tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and reimbursement for continuing education and licensure renewal.
