Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations of clients to determine individual therapeutic needs and develop customized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a range of mental health issues.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy to enhance client outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, incorporating insights from allied health professionals to create and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain meticulous and updated clinical documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on clients who may have limited access to mental health resources. This includes individuals and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role will not only address immediate therapeutic needs but also contribute to long-term emotional resilience and overall community well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical context, is essential for candidates.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice is critical.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connect with a diverse clientele.
