Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans that align with client goals and needs.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that all care adheres to ethical guidelines.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to address the diverse needs of clients.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic care and improve overall client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in documentation and reporting.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health, actively participating in workshops and professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Professional Counselor at Gotham Enterprises Ltd will work with a diverse client population ranging from adolescents to adults, experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to build therapeutic relationships with clients from differing backgrounds, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; however, a Master's or Doctoral degree is strongly preferred.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Washington.
• At least 2 years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to counseling practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience working in remote settings and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and virtual therapy platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your caseload and expertise.
