Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth technology to provide services. Counselors will conduct sessions through secure video conferencing, making it possible to reach a diverse array of clients across different regions. The electronic medical record (EMR) system is user-friendly and designed to streamline your workflow, allowing you to focus on what truly matters—your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations through telehealth sessions to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic techniques, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Work diligently to maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Engage in regular consultation with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Stay current with advancements in mental health by participating in workshops, seminars, and other professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical or telehealth environment.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations that govern counseling practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trust and therapeutic relationships with diverse client profiles.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specializing in trauma, substance abuse issues, family dynamics, or relationship counseling is highly desirable.
• Proficient use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telecommunication platforms, facilitating efficient client interactions and record-keeping.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals, including a willingness to share knowledge and learn from others.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Our benefits package includes:
