Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining the integrity of client care. Our outpatient office setting is designed to support mental health professionals in delivering high levels of care efficiently to those who need it most. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will utilize a range of therapeutic modalities within a coordinated and supportive infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s needs, conducting detailed assessments and evaluations to guide therapeutic interventions.
• Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Coordinate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and holistic client care that addresses the diverse aspects of mental health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a thorough account of client progress and treatment methodologies.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to remain informed of current trends and advancements in mental health care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required for this position.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is essential.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting or similar environment is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse will be viewed favorably.

Preferred Experience

• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish strong rapport with a diverse array of clients.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team to enhance client outcomes.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and related therapeutic technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition, BJC Wellness Center offers:
