Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately gauge clients' mental health statuses, concerns, and therapeutic objectives.
• Provide individualized counseling sessions to address various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma response, and stress management.
• Facilitate couples and family therapy sessions focused on improving relationship dynamics, addressing communication barriers, and resolving familial conflicts.
• Develop evidence-based personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific requirements, establishing clear objectives and therapeutic interventions.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring timely and effective responses.
• Provide educational resources to clients and families regarding mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available community resources to foster informed support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measurements, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.
• Uphold ethical standards and legal requirements in counseling practices, ensuring client confidentiality and informed consent processes are consistently followed.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
