Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both individual and group sessions tailored to each client's unique circumstances, helping them address anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues.
• Perform thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs to develop evidence-based and customized treatment plans, documenting progress and outcomes effectively.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing your expertise to guide them toward effective coping strategies.
• Engage in collaborative practices with interdisciplinary teams of mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and the best outcomes for our clients.
• Maintain ethical and confidential client records, complying with all state and federal regulations concerning mental health documentation.
• Stay current with latest research findings and employ proven techniques in the field of mental health counseling, ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services.
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development through training sessions, supervision, and peer consultation to refine your skills and enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a counselor at We Care Mental Health Therapy, you will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, experiencing a wide array of mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field is required.
• Obtainment of an LPC license in Oregon is mandatory, along with the ability to independently practice in accordance with state regulations.
• Experience maintaining clinical records, preparing reports, and assessing clients’ needs.
• Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to function effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to convey complex ideas clearly to clients and colleagues.
• Strong judgment capabilities and decision-making skills based on professional expertise.
• A commitment to upholding client confidentiality and adhering strictly to ethical guidelines in all practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient settings or teletherapy environments is desired.
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals of varying cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds is highly valued.
• Experience in providing crisis intervention services and managing complex cases would be a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
