Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social workers and case managers, to coordinate care and share client progress updates.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest research and therapeutic techniques in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will be vital in providing therapeutic support to individuals who often struggle to access care. You'll develop therapeutic relationships built on trust and understanding, ensuring that every client feels heard and validated in their experiences.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Currently possess an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling capacity, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of ethical and legal guidelines in the practice of counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a diverse client base, especially in family therapy, couples therapy, and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits
