Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to thoroughly understand clients’ backgrounds, needs, and treatment goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that are adaptable to changing circumstances and client feedback.
• Engage clients in therapeutic conversations and guide them through evidence-based talk therapy techniques that foster self-exploration.
• Implement and monitor treatment interventions, adapting strategies to enhance effectiveness and support client recovery.
• Regularly review and evaluate progress with clients, offering constructive feedback and adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary.
• Educate clients about their financial and emotional commitments concerning treatment, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
• Promote self-reflection, coping strategies, and interpersonal skills to empower clients in their healing journey.
• Document progress and maintain accurate client records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facilitate billing and administrative processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. You will provide care that respects cultural differences and aims to create a safe space for clients to engage in their healing process.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Demonstrable experience providing counseling services to individuals and groups in various settings.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, along with a competitive sign-on bonus.
