Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify client needs and mental health requirements, adapting your approach based on individual circumstances.
• Creating and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to achieve specific client goals, ensuring these strategies are regularly updated based on progress and feedback.
• Providing individual, couples, and group counseling, deploying various therapeutic techniques and interventions appropriately to facilitate positive outcomes.
• Engaging in collaboration with interdisciplinary treatment teams, sharing insights, and receiving feedback to holistically care for each client.
• Maintaining confidentiality by adhering to legal and ethical guidelines while keeping detailed and organized client records.
• Participating in regular clinical supervision, case discussions, and professional development activities to continuously improve and stay informed about best practices in mental health counseling.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
