Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy strategies, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' unique needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse groups, including individuals, couples, and families, tailoring approaches to meet their specific concerns.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, enabling each client to find the best fit for their healing journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for each client.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training opportunities to stay proficient in current mental health practices and trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will include individuals and families facing a variety of mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance misuse. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required to ensure a strong theoretical foundation in mental health.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado is essential for practice.
• Two years of experience in a counseling role, preferably in a clinical setting, is necessary to provide effective therapy.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards is crucial for maintaining the integrity of client interactions and ensuring compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital for establishing rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
