Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess client needs and create tailored therapy strategies that promote healing and development.
• Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, suited for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare providers to ensure holistic care, sharing insights and contributing to case discussions that prioritize client outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on serving individuals and families facing significant barriers to accessing mental health care. This includes, but is not limited to, those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. By providing exceptional support and therapeutic guidance, you will play a vital role in enhancing the emotional well-being and resilience of our clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, particularly in a clinical context.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards affecting the practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and technology used in teletherapy.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorder treatment is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience working within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care and services.

Compensation and Benefits
