Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – Remote Opportunity

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their mental health needs.
• Develop individualized therapy strategies and treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to client needs.
• Provide therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Life Edge Counseling Services caters to a diverse clientele facing various mental health issues. You will work with individuals experiencing substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma-related challenges, and eating disorders, among other conditions. Your expertise will be key in providing trauma-informed care in a virtual environment, supporting clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering therapeutic relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
