Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of clients' mental health status through consultations and interactions, focusing on understanding their personal history and current challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to formulate and implement personalized treatment plans, ensuring therapeutic goals are tailored to their unique needs.
• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions, facilitating discussions that encourage self-exploration and coping strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive records of counseling sessions, treatment plans, and client progress, adhering to ethical and legal standards in documentation.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge about mental health trends.
• Supervise and participate in therapeutic activities that may include skill-building workshops and community outreach events.
• Respond to urgent client needs, providing timely support and intervention for crisis situations as necessary.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to client wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on working with a diverse clientele, including youth and adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, and substance use issues. You will play a crucial part in helping clients navigate their struggles, providing them with the tools and resources needed to foster resilience and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• A valid LPC license in the state of Texas, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of supervised clinical experience.
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and treatments, along with the ability to conceptualize and implement effective treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trust with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly in community health settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and assessment tools relevant to mental health.
• Knowledge of group therapy techniques and facilitation skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus as an incentive for new hires. Our benefits include:
